Text: Psalm 130
In this Bible class we examine a cry for mercy from a man in troubled times and find that his despair is turned to hope on the basis of the covenant God of Israel. As people who similarly find themselves in times of difficulty, it is a helpful reminder that "with the LORD is abundant redemption".
Assignment: Read Psalm 29 for next week's class. Summarize each strophe and write a one sentence summary of the psalm. We will compare notes next week.
