Last week we considered Jeremiah's low-point. Today, we remember (what I contend is) the high-point of Jeremiah's faith, found in the third lament poem of Lamentations. In it we see the focus, basis, and result of his trust in God, a trust that produced a steadfast hope in the prophet despite the present difficulties.
