Today we consider the all-to-often controversial issue of whether or not it is permissible for a Christian to receive the COVID19 vaccine(s). This is a difficult and intensely personal issue with which many struggle. Today we cut through the hyperbole, misinformation, and personal politics to consider the ethics of the issue from a biblical perspective.

When it comes to a meal, it doesn't get much simpler than a peanut butter sandwich. Consisting of two simple ingredients, it's hard to mess it up. It is also irreducible in complexity (remove one element and we no longer have a sandwich). There is something we can learn from the peanut butter sandwich when it comes to the simplicity of the proper response to the gospel of Christ. We explore peanut butter sandwiched and salvation in our lesson today.

Today, we consider Paul's instruction to the church in Philippi about the need to forget and forge ahead for Christ.

Gold is a precious metal that some pursue with all of their heart. The psalmist spoke of his love of and commitment to God's word as being more valuable to him than even the purest gold. Do we love it and pursue it with the same dogged, heartfelt commitment?
