The NT is not squeamish when it speaks about blood, and over time is has offended many (from the ancient Romans to the modern atheist). And this blood motif may put off some Christians. In this lesson we consider some important things to remember when it comes to blood-speak in the NT.
When we think of "soundness" we most often think of what we believe, what we do in worship, and how one becomes a Christian. However, Paul, while not dismissing these critical things, takes a more holistic view that encompasses the entirety of life lived before Jesus.
